Zoe is drawn to the healthcare industry because of its vital role throughout every person’s life and its complex, challenging, and ever-changing nature. She is passionate about improving the lives of others by making our healthcare delivery organizations more efficient throughout their operational and financial facets. Her background in revenue cycle optimization enables her to show clients how seemingly minor operational practices can have downstream financial impact on their organizations and create a smoother experience for patients.
Before joining ECG, Zoe worked at Cloudmed (formerly Triage Consulting Group) as a consultant focusing on hospital revenue cycle analyses. She led comprehensive payment reviews to uncover insurance underpayments for hospital clients and pinpoint their underlying causes. To prevent ongoing revenue leakage, Zoe recommended changes that affected various parts of the revenue cycle, such as bill edits, CDM updates, and insurance contracting. Zoe also has internship experience within the strategy departments at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and UAB Health System, where she supported service line–level planning and decision-making.
