At TCHHN, Jake also led the network-wide workforce management initiative, which spanned 235 hospital departments. In his role, Jake partnered with department leaders and was responsible for setting productivity goals and ensuring department leadership had the tools and information to manage FTEs to budget, understand when volumes supported new FTEs, and correct negative variances in productivity. Through this effort, Jake helped maintain paid FTEs at 8% below baseline.
